Data discovery workshop & data modelling
The foundation. Before anything gets built, we spend time working with you to understand what data you hold (and don’t hold, but wish you did), how it relates and where it currently lives. This may well be a set of spreadsheets quietly doing the job of a database. You will receive a relational model and a logical overview of your data, written up clearly and yours to keep whatever you decide to do next.

Envisioning workshop
What would you like to do with your data if the sky were the limit? What would your customers love? Where do you see your technology platform tomorrow and a year from now? We can host an envisioning workshop to talk all these things through, then explore what it would take to get from here to there.

Design & Build
Application design & build
The application that sits on top of the model. Whether it is a knowledge management system, financial dashboards, a learning platform, a community site, or an internal tool, because the foundations are sound, the second and third things you ask for should not mean undoing the first. We love data visualisation! Charts; tables; maps - whatever makes it easiest for your users to understand and interact with your data. Currently we are enjoying building apps using Next.js - although we are mostly technology-agnostic, and prefer to choose the best tool for the job.

Data migration & integration
Moving your data out of spreadsheets, shared drives and systems that no longer speak to each other, and into something you can rely on. Ingesting data from third-party APIs, either as a one-off or recurring job, including full ETL (Extract, Transform and Load) design and build.

Run
Deployment & hosting
If you already have a Git repository, cloud provider and CI/CD pipeline infrastructure, we can work in your environment. If not, we can create that for you.

For applications already in production. A set number of days each month from people who know your code well, so that a small change stays a small change.
