How we work
How a project runs matters as much as what gets built. You will see what is happening at every stage, and nothing we build will tie you to us.
Our process
We work in stages, and you review after each one
01 / Discover
A short, self-contained piece of work. You come away with a relational model, a logical overview in plain language, and an estimate for what it would take to build on them. Stopping here is a perfectly reasonable outcome.
02 / Design
Interfaces, ETL pipelines, integrations - whatever the piece is, you see something concrete early, verified against your real data rather than described in the abstract, so changing your mind is simple.
03 / Build
Two-week cycles. Each one ends with something deployed that you can click through and test, so the direction is checked every fortnight rather than at the end.
04 / Run
Once it is live, the documentation and the repository are handed over and the work shifts to keeping it running. Some customers take it from here; others keep us on a set number of days a month.

Collaborative
When we are working with you, we want you to feel that we are on the same team. We will treat you with respect and transparency. We will take the time to understand what really matters to you so we can pull in the same direction, and we will keep you involved in the development process from start to finish.
Ethical
We don’t lock our customers in, either contractually or technologically. Any code, infrastructure or documentation we produce for you will be yours. We do not have a proprietary platform you need to stay subscribed to for your business-critical system to keep working, and there is no licence that stops if you stop paying us.
Thorough
We want to be proud of our work and we want you to be happy with the results. For us this means (at minimum) clean, maintainable, well-documented code, and a solution that is fit for purpose, and provides you with tangible value.
